Highway Projects
Roads are our core business. We construct, recondition, and maintain roads and highways of all types throughout the state of Alaska. You’ll find Colaska crews building bypass highways along mountains and past rural communities, expanding and repaving roads within larger cities, and importing equipment and materials to build roads near native villages and braving inclement weather in remote areas of the state.
Airport Projects
A critical link within the state. Alaska’s airports are used more frequently than many highways in the lower forty-eight. The Colaska group of subsidiaries plays an active role in building and maintaining both runways and airport facilities across the state.
Commercial Projects
Colaska paves parking lots for buildings and also acts as a subcontractor to provide services which include site preparation, earthwork, and/or the placement of redi-mix concrete.
Manufacturing
Colaska manufactures products for the construction industry. Our variety of products includes: crushed stone, asphalt, redi-mix concrete, concrete block products, pre-cast concrete, pre-stressed concrete, and various emulsion-related products like black liquid for street cracks and asphalt cement.
