Colaska is the largest and most geographical diverse gravel mining company in the state. Colaska has an extensive fleet of mobile hot mix asphalt plants. This fleet allows us to work anywhere in Alaska that is accessible by road, air or barge.
In 1999, Secon (South East Alaska Construction) entered the Colas USA Family of Companies and Colaska was born.
Since then, Colaska has acquired a number of Alaskan companies and grown to become the premier construction group in the state of Alaska. Working throughout the state, roads are the core business of Colaska, yet not its only business. Colaska subsidiaries construct and maintain Alaskan roads, highways, and airports, and manufacture and sell road construction materials across the state—including, emulsions, binders, and concrete.
