Focused on serving Alaska’s unique and challenging environment, Colaska is a leader in the construction and maintenance of roads, highways, airports, and other critical infrastructure across the state.
Colaska was established in 1999 when Secon (Southeast Alaska Construction) joined the Colas USA network. Since then, the company has grown through strategic acquisitions and organic expansion to become one of Alaska’s premier construction groups. With operations spanning the state, Colaska delivers integrated solutions through its network of local subsidiaries, including QAP, Emulsion Products Company, Exclusive Paving, University Redi-Mix, Southeast Roadbuilders and Secon. Together, these teams construct and maintain transportation infrastructure while producing and supplying essential materials such as aggregates, asphalt emulsions, binders, and ready-mix concrete.
Colaska’s decentralized structure allows its local business units to work closely with customers, ranging from governments and municipalities to private companies and contractors to meet Alaska’s evolving infrastructure needs. Backed by the expertise and global resources of the Colas Group, Colaska is committed to delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions that support the preservation, maintenance, and development of Alaska’s transportation network.
