Details of Works: Manufacturing of prestressed concrete girders for the Chena Flood Control Bridge Replacement Project. AGGPRO Prestress is producing 105 prestressed concrete girders, each measuring 140 feet 6 inches in length, containing approximately 39 cubic yards of concrete, and weighing 78 tons. The girders will support a new 997-foot-long, seven-span bridge. This is the largest single bridge project undertaken by AGGPRO Prestress to date. Once production is fully underway, the team is capable of producing one girder per day using a prestress casting bed and a live steam accelerated curing system, routinely achieving concrete strengths of 8,000 psi within 18 hours.
