Details of Works: Construction of a multi-lane roundabout at the Danby Street/Wembley Avenue intersection to improve safety and traffic flow in a high-volume corridor. Exclusive Paving replaced an existing signalized intersection with a roundabout designed to accommodate heavy freight traffic, nearby industrial access, and high commuter volumes. Work included roadway reconstruction, grading, and paving, as well as traffic phasing to maintain two-way traffic during construction. Due to heavy truck traffic, the project utilized high-performance asphalt mixtures incorporating recycled asphalt pavement to improve durability and performance. Careful planning and phased construction enabled continuous traffic flow while maintaining access to surrounding businesses and neighborhoods.
